Mariée depuis 9 mois, cette dame malade vit les pires moments de sa vie. Au départ, son mari, tellement jaloux, lui a interdit de répondre au téléphone. A la suite de ce genre de scène de jalousie, la dame décide de retourner chez ses parents.
De retour chez elle, elle appelle son mari qui lui donne le divorce. Pour entrer dans ses droits, la femme est retournée au domicile conjugal. Mais à sa grande surprise, on lui apprend le déménagement de son mari. Ce dernier lui a affirmé que sa mère, qui vit au Casamance, ne veut plus de leur union, puisqu’elle est devenue stérile, selon les médecins.
Prise entre le traitement de sa maladie et l’abandon de son mari, qui a changé de domicile, elle s’est rendue à la Gendarmerie, pour réclamer ses droits de divorce. En attendant, la dame vit seule, sans l’ombre de son mari qui prépare son mariage avec la femme choisie par sa mère.
