La randonnée pédestre organisée le weekend dernier à Saly a été une occasion pour les travailleurs de L’Ageroute de sensibiliser les populations sur les accidents de la circulation et l’utilité de préserver nos routes. Selon le directeur général de l’Ageroute Ibrahima Ndiaye, «il faut préserver nos routes, car elles constituent un maillon très important pour le développement de tout pays. Si nous nous comparons aux pays développés ou même aux pays émergents, nous sommes encore très loin des standards pour les densités et la qualité. Pratiquement, les investissements sur les infrastructures routières ont été multipliés par 10 de 2005 à nos jours», a indiqué le Dg de l’Ageroute qui exhorte les populations à préserver les investissements en évitant la surcharge à l’essieu qui détériore l’état des routes et qui coûte annuellement près des 50 milliard à l’Etat. Ibrahima Ndiaye, estime tout de même que le Sénégal «dépasse de loin les pays de la sous région dans le domaine des infrastructures routières».
