De son côté, avec sa victoire contre le Sénégal ce jeudi (1-0), la Colombie s’est qualifiée pour les 8es de finale de la Coupe du monde. L’équipe du Japon a eu le même nombre de points que le Sénégal. Mais ce dernier a été éliminé au fair-play, en ayant pris plus de cartons jaunes que le Japon.
C’est cruel. Mais en football comme dans tous les autres domaines de la vie, le manque de réalisme se paie comptant. La Colombie remporte ainsi « sa finale » du dernier match du groupe H et assure sa place pour les 8es de finale de la Coupe du monde.
