Bravo à nos vaillants étudiants, qui en dépit des conditions inhumaines, sont toujours à la quête du savoir avec une détermination sans faille enrobée d’un courage indéfectible.
Ce samedi à la tombée de la nuit j’ai rendu visite à nos sœurs de la chambre 28 du pavillon des mariés victimes d’incendie. Elles ont tout perdu, mais elles restent dignes. Bravo, rien que pour le savoir elles acceptent d’être 18 dans une chambre, acceptent de dormir dans des conditions pas loin du paketass donc semblables aux pires conditions des détenus de reubeuss.
Nos étudiants méritent respect et considération. Mais au-delà, pensons à leurs conditions en lieu et place des grenades lacrymogènes. Les photos choquantes des objets calcinés ont fini de faire le tour de la toile et jusqu’ici aucune réaction, pas moins des excuses des autorités.
Le développement ce n’est pas seulement des infrastructures, un capital financier ou physique, mais plutôt l’investissement dans le capital humain c’est-à-dire l’éducation dans son ensemble (enseignants, élèves, étudiants…).
Dis-moi quel système éducatif tu as, je te dirai quel peuple tu seras. Très honnêtement chaque fois que je rencontre un étudiant au Sénégal, je suis animé par deux sentiments : un sentiment de pitié pour ce qu’il endure dans les campus et un sentiment de respect pour ce qu’il peut devenir. Le Président Macky SALL en est la parfaite illustration.
Respect à nos étudiants – Respect à nos enseignants.
