José Mourinho, l’entraîneur de Manchester United, a dévoilé une partie de sa défense, mardi, contre le FC Bâle, lors du premier match de la saison en Ligue des champions. Chris Smalling sera associé à Victor Lindelöf en défense centrale car Eric Bailly et Phil Jones, qui ont été titulaires lors des quatre premiers matches de la saison en Premier League, sont suspendus. «C’est l’occasion pour Smalling et Lindelöf de disputer un match de Ligue des champions», a simplement commenté Mourinho. Les deux hommes ont déjà été associés lors de la défaite (2-1) de Manchester, le mois dernière, en Supercoupe d’Europe face au Real Madrid.
