D’autant plus que leur mission est de jouer un rôle «d’alerte et d’éveil des consciences tellement ils ont clamé urbi et orbi, être membres de la société civile». Une position dont la vocation n’est pas de s’identifier à un parti, à une idéologie politique ou de conquérir le pouvoir, mais de jouer la noble mission «d’alerte et d’avantgardiste» au profit exclusif des citoyens. Forte de cette conviction, la vice-pré- sidente des femmes de Benno qui rappelle que la société civile dont se ré- clame ce mouvement est également appelée à participer au processus électoral pour la transparence des opérations, soutient que «c’est méconnaître ce peuple responsable et mature, imbu de valeurs et du discernement précoce de tout acte posé si le mouvement pense pouvoir bénéficier du vote des Séné- galais». Car, «nous aurons, à travers ces élections, l’ultime preuve palpable et tangible que le citoyen sénégalais a plutôt besoin de ce mouvement dans son rôle d’alerte qu’à l’Assemblée nationale». D’autant plus que dans une de ses communications datant de 2011, le coordinateur «nous avait fait part que l’objectif de ce mouvement naissant était d’encourager nos concitoyens à prendre conscience de leurs droits et demander à nos dirigeants de les respecter». La présidente de l’Uds-A qui relève que de mouvement de contestation, Y’en a marre se mue «maladroitement en un mouvement politique, contrairement à sa mission d’antan», souligne qu’il demeure important de rappeler le caractère presque sacré d’une institution aussi importante que l’Assemblée nationale, qui n’est pas «n’importe quoi pour accueillir n’im- porte qui». Mme Adji Diarra Mergane Kanouté qui prophétise que la victoire qualifiée de la coalition Benno bokk yakaar sera une réalité au soir du 30 juillet 2017, note que le reniement du mouvement Y’en a marre a donné raison à tous ceux qui taxaient ses membres de po- liticiens «encagoulés à la recherche de prébendes».
