Condamné à cinq reprises pour trafic de drogue, il a bénéficié d’une grâce présidentielle après 1 an et demi de détention. Mais, le jeune garçon de 29 ans garde une dent contre son pater, qui à l’en croire, lui a gâché l’existence en le dénonçant à la police sur ses activités.
L’histoire entre père et fils est racontée dans l’Observateur de ce mercredi 7 février. Les faits se déroulent à Thiès.
Le 4 février dernier, alors que la famille était regroupée dans la cour de la maison, El. Thiam s’acharne sur ses petits frères qu’il frappe et abreuve d’insultes. Lorsque son père intervient, il saute sur l’occasion pour lui faire sa fête. Mais, seront séparés par des passants.
Quelques minutes plus tard, El Thiam, revient à la charge. Muni d’un couteau et coupe-coupe qu’il s’est acheté à 1500 Fcfa, il s’en prend à nouveau à son géniteur. Et cette fois-ci, c’était pour en finir avec lui. S’engage, alors une course poursuite entre les deux hommes. Mais, le père réussit à s’enfuir et se rend à la police pour exposer sa mésaventure.
Les enquêteurs qui se rendent sur place trouvent Thiam avec un kilogramme de chanvre qu’il confectionne en cornets. Interpellé, il réitère devant les enquêteurs ses menaces contre son père. Et révèle que ce dernier lui a gâché un marché florissant de drogue. Et pour cela, il comptait le décapiter et présentait sa tête à la police.
El H. Thiam, placé sous mandat à la prison de Thiès, promet de mettre sa menace à exécution une fois dehors.
