Dans une note adressée en exclusivité à Seneweb, S. Tall, qui a porté plainte contre El Hadji Diouf pour menaces de mort, injures publiques, notamment, a réagi après la libération du footballeur. Ce dernier a été retenu pendant quelques heures hier, jeudi 8 février, à la Section de recherches de la gendarmerie de Colobane. “D’abord, je tiens à préciser que l’histoire n’a rien à voir avec le fait d’être de la famille d’Aminata Tall (présidente du Conseil économique, social et environnemental, qui est sa sœur, Ndlr). Je suis un citoyen libre comme tout le monde, ayant droit à la protection et qui croit en la justice de son pays.
Ensuite, cette histoire de prêt de voiture date du mois de décembre. Nous sommes en février, pourquoi attendre maintenant pour faire des scandales alors qu’il (El Hadji Diouf) m’a revu après l’affaire ?
Je suis quelqu’un de discret et je n’ai jamais demandé à être dans les médias ou dans des problèmes.
Je tiens à préciser que la femme d’El Hadji est une amie que je connais depuis mon adolescence, son mari ne vivait pas à Dakar. C’est quelqu’un que je respecte énormément. El Hadji, je ne l’ai connu qu’en 2017, après être rentré au Sénégal. Lui-même, il a souligné que ses enfants et mes enfants sont amis, fréquentent les mêmes écoles. Son épouse et mon épouse aussi se connaissent bien.
Donc, j’ai considéré rendre service à une amie. D’où ma surprise lorsque, le 28 décembre, El Hadji m’a appelé pour me dire que j’aurais pu lui demander avant de prêter une voiture à Valérie. (El Hadji a eu mon numéro de téléphone par l’intermédiaire de sa femme, lorsqu’il voulait m’inviter au lancement de son mouvement.)
Pour moi, il allait de soi qu’El Hadji soit au courant de la demande de sa femme. Ayant eu moi-même à en parler à mon épouse avant de lui prêter la voiture.
Néanmoins, je lui ai répondu que je pensais bien faire en rendant service à une amie. Et que j’étais désolé qu’il n’ait pas été avisé. Sur ce, j’ai tout bonnement repris ma voiture pour mettre fin à la polémique et lui ai fait part de mes regrets.
Mais le harcèlement ne prenant pas fin, j’ai dû en aviser les autorités qui n’ont fait que leur travail.
Aujourd’hui, il dit qu’il regrette les faits. Il m’a présenté ses excuses devant les autorités, regrettant au passage avoir ignoré la perte de ma mère et les relations entre nos deux familles. Il dit avoir agi sous la colère… Au nom de la famille, j’accepte ses excuses, et on passe à autre chose.”
