Il échoué parce que lors de sa première présidentielle, il était à 16% lors de la seconde, il est tombé à la moitié de ces voix. Et peut-être qu’il sera à 2% lors de la prochaine présidentielle. Donc, il n’a qu’à continuer dans cette voie. C’est son rôle de s’opposer au régime qui est en train de faire des choses extraordinaires. Personne ne peut nier qu’il y a des avancées notoires sous l’ère Macky Sall.
Mais lui, pendant qu’il était là, qu’est qu’il a fait ? Il n’a qu’à nous faire son bilan. Il était excellent directeur de Cabinet du Président Wade, qui était maitre de l’univers. Il a été ministre d’Etat, Premier ministre, maire de Thiès, mais il n’a rien fait. Il a échoué pendant toute cette période. Donc il n’a qu’à continuer à s’opposer au régime, à dire ce qu’il pense. Mais le moment venu, en 2019, les gens voteront, et je suis convaincu qu’ils ne voteront pas pour Idrissa Seck ».
