Au lendemain de la sortie remarquée d’Idrissa Seck à propos de l’accord gazier signé entre le Sénégal et la Mauritanie ainsi que sur l’affaire Petro-Tim où le nom d’Aliou Sall est redondant, le Président Macky Sall a tenu à apporter la réplique. En effet, lors d’une conférence de presse conjointe tenue au Palais qu’il animait avec Georges Weah, chef de l’État du Libéria, le Président Macky Sall a répondu au président de Rewmi.
De manière assez timide par rapport à l’attaque frontale de ce dernier, il a juste indiqué ne pas comprendre «pourquoi on pose des questions sur des choses qui ont été faites publiquement.» Car, selon lui, «on ne peut pas avoir des débats sur des non-sujets.» Non sans informer que «le ministre des Affaires étrangères sera au Parlement pour expliquer aux députés les tenants et aboutissants de cette affaire.» Il a également rappelé qu’«un travail a été fait au niveau des experts et des ministres préalablement à l’arbitrage des chefs d’État, intervenu la semaine dernière à Nouakchott.»
Il a surtout rappelé que «les États sont organisés… C’est ne rien comprendre des relations internationales pour croire qu’un État va signer un accord international et que cet accord soit secret. C’est méconnaître le mécanisme de l’État. L’accord doit être ratifié et promulgué en dernière instance par le président de la République.»
Dans ce dossier, la coalition Benno bokk yaakaar est venue au secours du Président Macky Sall. «Nous félicitons le Président Macky Sall et son homologue, le Président Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, pour les accords noués sur les différents sujets abordés, lors de leur rencontre de travail, les 08 et 09 février 2018, en Mauritanie, accords traduisant la volonté des deux Présidents de raffermir et de renforcer les relations de bon voisinage, la coopération bilatérale entre les États et les liens historiques entre les peuples mauritanien et sénégalais», ont dit ses membres.
En effet, ajoutent-ils, «à cette occasion, les deux présidents ont fait signer l’Accord de coopération intergouvernemental (Aci) portant sur l’exploitation du champ gazier Grand Tortue Ahmeyin (GTA) se trouvant au niveau des frontières maritimes des deux pays, outre les instructions données à leurs ministres pour la réalisation des accords dans le domaine de la sécurité, de l’élevage et de la pêche.» Non sans affirmer que les «Présidents ont tous deux regretté l’incident tragique ayant entraîné la mort du jeune pêcheur, Fallou Diakhaté, de même que les saccages des commerces de Mauritaniens à Saint-Louis et ont convenu de créer les conditions d’une meilleure exploitation des ressources halieutiques dans le respect de la durabilité de celles-ci, en appelant leurs ministres respectifs à matérialiser les volontés présidentielles dans un bref délai.»
Ils terminent en tirant sur l’opposition qu’ils accusent de faire preuve «de mauvaise foi manifeste à chaque fois qu’elle s’exprime sur la situation du Sénégal, aveuglée qu’elle est par une haine pathologique qui, comme une tumeur, ronge ses facultés de discernement. Elle est à ce point empêtrée dans son nihilisme qu’elle continue de ressasser les amertumes de ses défaites successives au référendum de 2016 et aux législatives de 2017.»

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.
This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.
