A Dakar, le procès de Khalifa Sall est entré ce jeudi 22 février dans son ultime phase. Pour les avocats de Khalifa Sall, aucune infraction n’a été commise, le maire doit être relaxé. Ce jeudi, comme le veut la règle, c’est l’Etat qui a donc répliqué aux plaidoiries de la défense.

L’un des avocats vous a dit “mon client est responsable mais pas coupable”. Oui, responsable d’avoir fabriqué des fausses factures pour décaisser des fonds et les détourner. Donc acte ! ». Les avocats de l’Etat enchaînent en mettant l’accent sur le faux et usage de faux, chef d’inculpation qui peut entraîner la perte des droits civiques s’il est retenu. Pour maître Ousmane Diagne, « le faux est un délit autonome qui ne peut être nié, la ligne de la défense semble intenable ».
