La banlieue perturbée : Élevés du privé et du public s’entretuent et saccagent une maison

À Yeumbeul, la grève des élèves des lycées et des collèges a pris une tournure déplorable. De violents affrontements ont opposé les élèves du public à leurs camarades du privé. Les pensionnaires du Cem Momar Marième Diop à Yeumbeul Nord, qui sont descendus dans la rue pour dénoncer les grèves répétées des enseignants, ont délogé les élèves des écoles privées qui suivaient tranquillement leurs cours. Mais au niveau de l’école privée Seydi Djamil, la situation a débordé. Les élèves de cet établissement ont apporté la riposte à leurs camarades.

S’en sont suivis des échanges de jets de pierre. Le bilan fait état d’un blessé grave. Il s’agit d’une femme qui officierait à l’école privée, qui a été blessée. «J’ai vu une dame blessée. Elle saignait. Elle a été conduite à l’hôpital de Pikine», explique notre informateur. Pendant une vingtaine de minutes les potaches ont semé panique et confusion à Yeumbeul, barrant la route de Boune, précisément à hauteur du célèbre arrêt «Diouma Peulh Fouta». Les affrontements ont aussi occasionné des dégâts matériels énormes. La toiture d’une maison en ardoise a été complètement endommagée par les jets de pierre.

Dans la foulée, l’un des meneurs de la grève du Cem Momar Marième Diop a passé un sale quart d’heure au niveau de l’école privée Seydi Djamil. Il a été tabassé par ses camarades. «Il a été pris à partie par les élèves de Seydi Djamil. Ils l’ont bien corrigé car il avait refusé de prendre la fuite», ajoute notre source.

Les élèves des Cem et des lycées de la banlieue ont déserté les classes hier. Ils sont descendus dans les rues pour organiser des marches de protestation. Ceux du lycée de Mbao et des Cem de Tivaouane Diacksao n’ont pas été en reste. Ils voulaient envahir l’Inspection d’Académie de Pikine Guédiawaye, pour déverser leur colère. Cependant, sur place, il y avait un impressionnant dispositif de sécurité. Les hommes du commissaire Khadidiatou Sarr de la police de Thiaroye veillaient au grain.

Finalement, les élèves ont poursuivi leur marche jusqu’au lycée Seydina Limamou Laye. «Nous voulons étudier. L’État doit respecter ses engagements qu’il a signés avec les enseignants. Les examens du Bac sont prévus à partir du 06 juin, avec l’anticipée de Philosophie. Or, nous n’avons même pas fini les premiers chapitres. L’État est en train de nous sacrifier», déplore Cheikh Diaw élève en classe de Terminale au lycée de Mbao. Sa camarade, fatiguée par la longue marche mais très outrée, ajoute ceci : «Le Président Macky Sall parle tout le temps de Sénégal émergent. Mais comment peut-on émerger si les enfants n’apprennent pas à l’école ?», s’interroge Fatou Ndiaye, en posant la question au Président Macky Sall….
