Le procès d’une trentaine de présumés terroristes se poursuit toujours à la salle 4 du Palais de justice Lat Dior de Dakar. Hier dans sa plaidoirie Me Khoureychi Bâ s’est insurgé contre ce procès qu’il a qualifié d’inédit dans les annales de l’histoire judiciaire du Sénégal. « C’est un procès des paradoxes », a-t-il martelé. Dans la foulée, la robe noire estime que le sieur Moustapha Diatta dont il assure la défense a été accusé injustement dans cette affaire. « Le seul tort de mon client est d’avoir été l’ami sur Facebook d’un certain Moustapha Mendy présenté dans l’ordonnance de renvoi comme étant un dangereux terroriste », a-t-il souligné.
Dans ses effets de manches, il a pris le contre-pied du procureur qui avait requis à l’encontre de l’accusé une peine d’emprisonnement de 20 ans ferme. Selon Me Khoureichi Bâ, ce sévère réquisitoire n’est adossé à aucun élément objectif pouvant étayer la culpabilité de son client. Il a aussi dénoncé avec véhémence la stigmatisation dont est victime les adeptes de la confrérie des « Ibadous rakhmans », dans cette procédure. Sous le bénéfice de toutes ces observations, Me Khoureichi Bâ a demandé au tribunal d’acquitter son client pour délits non constitué. Auparavant, il a tiré à boulets rouges sur l’occident qu’il suspecte de vouloir imposer à nos Etats sa suprématie. « Ce procès est un pas vers le chemin de la recolonisation », a-t-il notamment expliqué.
