Précisions sur le « décès » de Iba Der Thiam

Alors que beaucoup de sites internet sénégalais ont annoncé ce vendredi, après-midi, le décès du professeur Iba Der Thiam, la Commission de l’Histoire Générale du Sénégal dément à travers un communiqué parvenu à notre rédaction.

Le professeur est en vie et en bonne santé. Cependant, il est en deuil car son homonyme a été rappelé à Dieu ce vendredi 22 juin. L’inhumation a eu lieu à Touba le même jour.

« Chères toutes, chers tous. Suite aux supputations de ces dernières heures sur un éventuel décès du Professeur Iba Der Thiam, la Commission Communication de l’Histoire Générale du Sénégal vous informe que c’est son homonyme qui est décédé ce matin et a été enterré à Touba tout à l’heure. Mr, Knish I am aware of the NK but did not realize that all the so called "troubles" with the religious that re being reported on (God forbid they report on human rights abuses in Cairo, Gaza, or Damascus) were coming from them.   9. When the government wants to take care of everything in the country ,guys, it looks like socialism (communism). I have lived in that system for 25 years (former USSR), Praise God it’s been broken by our Mighty God. First they say they care about everything then they start to controll through their “care”. May be you won’t believe me ,but with the time people(mostly unbelievers in the country) start putting their trust into government ,like in God.
