  1. I know I sent you an e-mail about the Doodles, but I wanted to post a more public response to you for public viewing. I've never heard of this not working with Windows Vista. It could be something up with your Vista permission, but I've never heard of this being an issue, you may have to manually enter your Vista sound settings through the control panel. I will though investigate the issue to see if I can't find a better solution.

  2. Good words. One issue we are dealing with here in ‘exotic wyoming’ is the old-school, traditional mentality that the preachers do everything. We have an older group that is certain that the great commission was not meant for them, it was for the disciples Jesus was talking to and preachers, evangelists, etc. I believe (this is not backed up with facts, just observation) that many to most of the ‘growing’ churches in America are ones that are equipping and sending out their people to disciple others. Pastors/preachers seem to be taking on the role of equipper that helps others go out and minister to people.

  3. she would marry the semi-colon when there was a debate about punctuation and someone wanted to expunge it. The semi-colon now has a working visa because we're married; no-one can deport it. So I guess that's my answer. Mary, what are you doing with my spouse?

  4. Brigitte Coadic, representative of the CGT union at the site and the woman behind the calendar, which is due out in the autumn.. . . 13 male workers pose nude covered only with masks or helmets. . . ”Soooooo, French women (and probably some men as this is France) will pay money for pictures of, yes that’s right, boilermakers in the buff, all so that the boilermakers can take a trip to Italy for a picket line? (which will happen to coincide with some vacation time probably).Oh yeah, where do we sign up? (snark!)

  5. I bought the tumbler because I feel that it does help save cups. Regardless if Starbucks does save money, I save wasting paper instead of throwing away a cup (and not recycling) I use a coffee mug that I will use over and over again. I agree about the marketing manipulation, but it’s no worse than a fast food chain trying to lure a customer in to a gimmicky promotion. The only problem I have with the Starbucks tumbler promotion is that I bought a red tumbler and they donate $1.00 to the research in HIV/AIDS. I wish they would donate more like 20 or 30 %.

  6. Yes, yes, yes Karen, let us go to the beach! I love the packaging on this collection – its a bit cheesy but still so lovely. Plus all shades of green is my fave color too! I have Humid, and I adore it and when I saw Firecracker and Sand & Sun – I immediately envisioned it going so well with Humid. I do have similar shades to those 2 in my stash but I think they are unique enough to be wanted. I also want the Lustre Drops (hello glow!) and the blush in Hipness, and maybe the lippie in Funbathing. Oh my goodness – this collection is going to make me poor!

  8. I got my bike worked on at River City too before starting my tour! My rear barrel adjuster broke in the shipping process and the dudes there replaced it in record time.Ken I’m reading Clockers right now – Price is a pretty darn good writer. An excerpt of Lush Life is included at the end, too.

  9. Alex, let’s just say it is murder for murder and death by letter. Does that make you want to read it even more? I don’t think at that time the horror of the camps was really known. What was known is that Jews were being rounded up and sometimes shot in the street.
