  3. It has been a struggle, I am the first to admit. But, now with age comes patience and I am more able to really see the joy in every moment of life. I’ve always been the glass-half-full sort even if I appear serious about the world to others. Perhaps writing about the serious stuff also helps me be less serious and more joyful on the outside. Thank you for your hopeful thoughts.

  4. A male POV who has beautiful thoughts. Alpha sounds incredibly cool with her mohawk 😀 And the whole idea of a world without trees sounds scary: not in a creepy way, but something you don't want to imagine (NO BOOKS :o)Lovely review sweety! ^^

  5. I would have waited as well. As a nurse I usually feel I can handle anything and avoid being the panicky mom! So glad he is doing better and stay away from Google!I think we are all a little on edge with our little ones the last month! So scary when they are sick!Mary recently posted..

  7. Neil – that’s right. Someone pointed out that 15-20 years ago (most) senior people in science didn’t use email and if you were caught “wasting time” on such things you could be in trouble. Now email is ubiquitous.Blogging currently is not seen as mainstream, but perhaps in a few years it will be.I do worry a bit about what the world will be like when (if) every single research group leader and most postdocs have their own blog?

  8. for producing something that sounds the same – the EV in Khrushchev and Gorbachev drives me crazy, for instance. I must confess that the Great Russian Writer is very hard to read in Russian, though I have read Ivan Denisovich. (Gulag is unreadable in Russian even for many natives I know.)

  9. I have the right to do lots of things. It doesn’t mean its using good judgement or manners.Stop being so entitled. And hypoglycemia was an example, but that is a health condition, not a baby having to wait an extra 60 seconds for a feeding.
