20. : “~” is the alias for the user home folder on many Unix/Linux system. Another alternative is “$HOME” . Which is usually “/home/username” (Linux) or “/Users/username” (Mac) . Therefore “~/.eclipse” is the directory name “.eclipse” in user’s $HOME directory (probably the folder to store local config for Eclipse of that user)
