La garde à vue de l’islamologue suisse Tariq Ramadan, entendu depuis mercredi matin à Paris par la police judiciaire dans le cadre d’une enquête pour viols et violences volontaires, a été prolongée jeudi, a-t-on appris de source judiciaire. L’universitaire est visé en France par deux plaintes pour viols. Le parquet de Paris a ouvert en octobre dernier une enquête préliminaire pour viols et violences volontaires.
Une femme, Henda Ayari, ancienne salafiste, l’accuse de l’avoir agressée en marge d’un congrès de l’Union des organisations islamiques de France (Uoif) en 2012. Une accusation rejetée par Tariq Ramadan, qui a porté plainte pour “dénonciation calomnieuse”. Une autre femme a déposé plainte pour viol. Elle dit avoir été victime de violences sexuelles d’une grande brutalité, selon son témoignage cité dans la presse.
En Suisse, quatre de ses anciennes élèves l’ont accusé, dans La Tribune de Genève et le journal 24 Heures, d’abus commis pour certaines quand elles étaient encore mineures.
