Le percepteur Ibrahima Traoré, a été le premier à passer à la barre. « Je réaffirme tout ce que j’avais dit. Je conteste tout ce qu’on me reproche. Je n’ai fait que mon travail », a-t-il déclaré avant de regagner sa place.
« Je maintiens mes déclarations »
Mamadou Oumar Bokoum, percepteur lui aussi a commencé ses déclarations par des mots de bienveillance. « Je voudrais tout d’abord remercier le tribunal, remercier vos assesseurs, le procureur de la République, les avocats et tous ceux qui ont participé à ce procès, de m’avoir écouté développer mes arguments. Je maintiens mes déclarations. Mes co-prévenus qui n’ont pas le même sort que moi, je leur souhaite bonne chance ».
En liberté provisoire, le procureur de la République a requis la relaxe pour lui et son collègue I. Touré.
