Samedi dernier, lors du lancement de la Semaine nationale de la jeunesse, à Pikine, «Kor» Marième Faye a fait rire plus d’uns. Dans la délégation de Kaffrine, le tambour major est un enfant âgé de moins de 10 ans (Sinon un peu plus). Mais il savait bien battre le Tam-tam. D’ailleurs, ses manières de faire et ses gestes n’ont laissé personne indifférent. Même le Président Sall. L’enfant se signale en plein discours du chef de l’État. Le Président Macky Sall marque un arrêt de quelques secondes. Le sourire aux lèvres, il lance ces mots : «Je suis étonné par ce jeune tambour major». Et d’ajouter en Wolof : «Ki mom soxlo wul formation professionnelle» (Traduction : “celui-ci n’aura certainement pas besoin d’une formation professionnelle”). De quoi faire marrer l’assistance, avant de poursuivre son allocution…
