Le Conseil d’administration de la Société africaine de raffinage (SAR) a limogé le directeur général de l’entreprise, Oumar Diop. Il est remplacé par Serigne Mboup, qui assurait jusque-là les charges de Président du conseil d’administration (Pca). La SAR traverse depuis quelques semaines des remous mettant aux prises un des actionnaires, Locafrique, et la direction de l’entreprise, qui bénéficierait de l’appui du ministre du Pétrole et des Énergies, Mansour Élimane Kane.
D’ailleurs, il faut le rappeler et le signaler, Oumar Faye, président de Leral Askan-Wi a fait savoir peu avant le limogeage de ce dernier, qu’il était «protégé» par son ministre de tutelle. Par la même occasion, il indiquait que les Sénégalais ne laisseront pas la tutelle essayer de mettre sur la touche des investisseurs nationaux qui ont consenti à des investissements très élevés pour entrer dans le capital de la Sar. Autant dire que les cris de dénonciation des uns et les autres ont pour le moment porté leurs fruits. Maintenant, reste à savoir s’ils vont réclamer la tête du ministre Mansour Élimane Kane.
