Le président de l’Organisation nationale de coordination des activités de vacances (Oncav-Renouveau) a révélé ce week-end que sa structure regroupe officiellement 1500 Asc. “Sur les 3500 Asc répertoriées sur toute l’étendue du territoire national”,1500 sont affiliées à l’Oncav-R”, a-t-il déclaré. Selon le président Ousmane Iyane Thiam, son mouvement associatif est assez bien implanté dans les régions notamment dans le sud. Dans la foulée, il a déploré la faible représentativité de l’Oncav-R dans la région de Dakar. “Sur 15 zones, nous contrôlons 4. Dans la capitale nous avons perdu du terrain à cause de certaines informations erronées à notre sujet, véhiculées par nos adversaires”, a-t-il martelé. Il se dit toutefois ouvert au dialogue avec Amadou Kane, le président de l’autre Oncav dit Authentique. “Nous sommes ouverts à la réunification des deux Oncav. C’est même primordial pour un mouvement navetane fort”, a-t-il notamment souligné. Ousmane Iyane Thiam s’exprimait en marge d’une cérémonie de signature d’un protocole d’accord avec le groupe Pakao visant le renforcement de capacités et l’équipement en matériel sportif des Asc affiliées à l’Oncav-R.
