En prélude de la journée mondiale de la femme, le 8 mars prochain, le Grand Oral a reçu Mme Ngom Absa Wade, Directrice de l’équité et de l’égalité de genre. Sur les ondes de la 97.5 Rewmi FM, elle est longuement revenue sur la préparation de cette journée et la question de la femme. A noter que pour cette année, le thème qui a été choisi est : « autonomiser les femmes et les filles rurales ». Morceaux choisis.
Préparation de la journée mondiale de la femme
On la prépare très bien parce que c’est une journée symbolique pour les femmes du monde. Elle est symbolique particulièrement pour la femme sénégalaise et nos sœurs du milieu rural, puisque c’est elles qui seront célébrées cette année. C’est une journée pendant lesquelles les femmes vont se retrouver pour échanger, pour discuter sur leur situation, pour aussi discuter sur les réalisations qu’elles ont eu à faire. Mais aussi, pour discuter sur les défis qui se posent à leur autonomisation, puisque cette année le thème de la journée internationale de la femme c’est : « autonomiser les femmes et les filles rurales ». En amont, il y a des réflexions scientifiques qui se déroulent pour produire des documents extrêmement importants qui serviront de base de travail et de base programmatique pour toutes les actions qui seront menées aussi par le Ministère de la Femme, de la Famille et du Genre, mais également par les organisations de la société civile, notamment les organisations de femmes qui sont des partenaires stratégiques du ministère dans la mise en œuvre de ses actions.
