Ouf de soulagement au Groupe futurs médias (Gfm). L’auteur présumé de la série de vols enregistrée ces derniers mois dans le groupe de Youssou Ndour, et qui mettait mal à l’aise nombre d’honnêtes employés, a été démasqué. Il s’appelle Mario Gomis. Agent de Gfm depuis 2005. Titulaire d’un Contrat à durée indéterminé (CDI) depuis 2010.
Le mis en cause a été arrêté par les éléments de la Section de recherches de la gendarmerie. Il a reconnu les faits, d’après L’Observateur, qui souligne que Mario Gomis a été trahi par un système de vidéo-surveillance installé à son insu.
Si une telle stratégie a été adoptée par les responsables du groupe de presse, c’est certainement qu’ils soupçonnaient leur électricien, lequel a installé toutes les caméras du siège de Gfm aux Almadies. L’Observateur informe que pour commettre ses forfaits, il désactivait les «mouchards» en sectionnant les fils. Le mode opératoire a bien fonctionné à trois reprises. Le décor campé, il se présente devant le bureau de la caissière, tente de forcer la porte. En vain. L’accès est sécurisé et muni d’une alarme discrète. Le voleur présumé tourne sur ses pas et s’éclipse. Croyant sans doute avoir, au moins, tenté son coup sans être vu.
