Le premier flic du pays a saisi l’occasion pour annoncer des travaux d’envergure dans cette cité religieuse que le Président Macky Sall voudrait “selon lui, élever au même rang que les autres religieuses du Sénégal. “Le président de la République veut rebâtir cette cité, selon la volonté du marabout. Il prévoit de faire un plan directeur d’urbanisme pour schématiser les recommandations du guide religieux. Au centre de la cité, il prévoit de construire un Coeur de ville, qui va abriter des maisons des hôtes, des salles de conférence, un esplanade autour de la mosquée”, a annoncé le ministre de l’Intérieur.
