Le Président directeur général du groupe D-Media va recevoir le « Prix Serigne Abdoul Aziz Sy Al Amine ». Il est distingué par la Fondation d’appui aux initiatives pour la promotion de l’islam (Faipi). Cette entité a décerné le prix à Bougane Gueye Dany, en collaboration avec plusieurs mouvements, associations, organisations et Fondations religieuses basées au Sénégal et dans sa diaspora.
Le choix porté sur le patron de D-Media est justifié par « ses nombreuses actions en faveur de la promotion de l’Islam », a-t-on noté sur un communiqué. Et de préciser que le « récipiendaire ira sûrement présenter la distinction au président de la République au courant de cette nouvelle année ».
« Que ce soit dans l’affaire des Rohingas, dans le dossier des migrants en Libye et ou dans l’affaire Yavuz Sélim, le lauréat a eu le courage de défendre les idéaux de la religion de Mohammad (Psl).
