Dakar, 17 fév (APS) – Quatre chefs d’Etat ouest-africains se retrouveront mercredi, à Accra, au Ghana, pour adopter une nouvelle feuille de route, en vue d’’’accélérer le processus de création de la monnaie unique de la Communauté économique des Etats de l’Afrique de l’Ouest’’ (CEDEAO), a appris l’APS, samedi.
Il s’agit des présidents ivoirien Alassane Ouattara, ghanéen Nana Akufo-Addo, nigérien Mahamadou Issoufou et nigérian Muhammadu Buhari (membres de la Task force présidentielle), précise un communiqué de presse parvenu à l’APS.
‘’Cette réunion de la Task force présidentielle est précédée les 17 et 18 février 2018 par une réunion technique préparatoire et le 19 février 2018 par une réunion du comité ministériel’’, relève le communiqué.
Du 17 au 19 janvier dernier, Abuja, au Nigeria, a reçu une quarantaine d’experts régionaux qui ont travaillé sur la nomenclature de la nouvelle feuille de route. ‘’Le document issu de leurs travaux sera soumis aux chefs d’Etat le 21 février 2018, lors de leur rencontre d’Accra’’, souligne le communiqué.
