L’élection de Patrice Edouard Ngaïssona au Comité exécutif de la CAF fait polémique. De forts soupçons pèsent en effet sur le rôle qu’a joué dans la guerre civile centrafricaine cet ancien “coordinateur” auto-proclamé des anti-balaka.

D’habitude, les élections au Comité exécutif de la Confédération africaine de football (CAF) se déroulent dans une certaine confidentialité et ne déchaînent pas la passion médiatique. Mais celle qui a été organisée à Casablanca vendredi 2 février, en marge de la phase finale du Championnat d’Afrique des Nations (CHAN) a produit son petit effet. Ahmad Ahmad, qui ne déteste pas que la CAF qu’il préside depuis mars dernier fasse parler d’elle, est servi. Mais pas forcément comme il l’espérait.
