Coordonnateur national du mouvement ‘’Alerte’’, Cheikh Sadibou Diop fait savoir que leur objectif principal est de mettre en place une 3ème voie citoyenne pour éliminer toute cette oligarchie politique. Je ne suis pas candidat en 2019. Misant sur des acteurs de la société civile et des hommes d’affaires qui pensent au Palais, il signale dans cet entretien qu’il nous a accordé, l’impérieuse nécessité de ‘’guillotiner’’ cette classe politique vampirique, clientéliste, corrompue qui a mis ses intérêts au-devant de celui des populations.

Alerte est un mouvement qui a pour objectif de réunir les forces citoyennes, et d’en faire une masse critique importante en vue des élections de 2019. Notre candidat ne sera pas issu de la classe politique car, celle-ci est responsable de cette situation que nous traversons. De Senghor à Abdou Diouf en passant par Wade et même Macky Sall, ils ont tous échoué à sortir le Sénégal de cette situation économique très précaire. Alors, notre objectif principal est de mettre en place une 3ème voie citoyenne pour éliminer toute cette oligarchie politique. Je ne suis pas candidat en 2019, mais je serai l’architecte d’un appareil de conquête électorale animé par les forces citoyennes pour la naissance d’un pouvoir citoyen fort et crédible. Et, nous avons déjà plusieurs personnalités intéressées par notre projet.
