A l’entame de sa communication, le Chef de l’Etat se réjouit du succès de la Troisième Conférence Internationale de Reconstitution des Fonds du Partenariat Mondial pour l’Education (PME) pour la période 2018-2020, tenue à Dakar le 02 février 2018.
En effet, grâce à la forte mobilisation des pays et Institutions partenaires, les engagements consignés au cours de la rencontre de Dakar ont atteint la somme de 2,3 milliards de dollars, dont 2 millions de dollars au titre de la contribution du Sénégal en attendant celle des autres partenaires.
