L’ex-ministre de la Défense de Laurent Gbagbo, les militaires Katet Gnatoa, Samuel Zadi et Pacôme Brou sont condamnés pour avoir organisé en février 2012 une plateforme visant à renverser le pouvoir d’Alassane Ouattara.
C’est après trois jours de procès et près de trois heures de délibérations que
Paulin Gnatoa Katé, Samuel Zadi Gbaka, Moïse Lida Kouassi et Pacome Brou ont été déclarés coupables d’avoir, en février 2012, fomenté un complot visant à déstabiliser le gouvernement d’Alassane Ouattara. Pour cela, ils sont condamnés à 15 ans de prison là où le procureur de la République avait requis 20 ans.
Dès l’annonce du verdict, Me Félix Bobré, l’avocat de l’ex-ministre de la Défense de Laurent Gbagbo a déclaré qu’il ferait appel de cette décision, affirmant qu’être l’un des proches et fervent supporter de l’ex-président Gbagbo a certainement desservi son client. « Ce procès n’avait d’autre but que de solder le compte de Laurent Gbagbo mais par Lida Kouassi interposé », a-t-il déclaré.
