Coups d’Etats en Afrique : Focus sur ces présidents chassés ou assassinés

Alors que certains pays africains se dirigent vers échéances électorales (Côte d’Ivoire, RDC, Mali, Guinée), l’histoire de ces dernières années a prouvé que les coups de force éléctorales pouvaient souvent conduire aux coups d’Etat. De Compaoré à Ben Ali, retour sur ces coups d’Etats chassés ou tués du pouvoir.

Avant Blaise Compaoré au Burkina Faso, il y a eu François Bozizé en Centrafrique. Arrivé au pouvoir par un coup d’État le 15 mars 2003, le Centrafricain sera, à son tour, déposé le 24 mars 2013. Il prendra la route de l’exil. Son homoloque bissau-guinéen, Carlos Gomes Junior, subira le même sort en 2012.
