Le ministre de la pêche et de l’économie maritime, M. Oumar Gueye a procédé à la cérémonie de remise d’une embarcation en fibre de verre aux populations du village de Mboudoum-Est, arrondissement de Ndiaye, à Dagana. Le coût de l’embarcation, s’élève à 40 710 000 francs CFA.
« C’est avec un réel plaisir, que je me retrouve ici, à Mboudoum-Est, belle localité de ces terres remplies d’histoires et de culture du WALO, pour célébrer avec vous, vaillantes populations, la cérémonie de remise de l’embarcation offerte par M. Macky SALL, Président de la République. Il y a quatre mois, en octobre dernier, il a été porté à la très haute attention de M. le Président de la République que les élèves et les autres habitants de Mboudoum-Est, ainsi que de sept autres villages environnants, étaient contraints, de par la configuration de la zone, d’emprunter des pirogues monocoques à rame, donc non motorisées, pour se rendre au CEM Kassack-Nord ou, simplement, pour rallier la voie routière », a précisé le ministre de la pêche.
