Dakar, 2 fév (APS) – Le Sénégal et la France ont signé vendredi plusieurs accords de coopération portant notamment sur la création d’un campus franco-sénégalais à Diamniadio et “une commande ferme” de deux A330 nouvelle version au profit de la compagnie nationale sénégalaise Air Sénégal.
Les accords ont été paraphés au palais de la République par des officiels des deux pays, sous la supervision du président sénégalais Macky Sall et de son homologue français Emmanuel Macron.
Outre ceux concernant la création d’un campus franco-sénégalais et l’acquisition de deux A 330 nouvelle version, les accords paraphés se rapportent à plusieurs autres domaines dont une convention de financement d’un montant de 26 milliards FCFA pour un appui budgétaire sous forme de don au secteur de l’eau et de l’assainissement au Sénégal.
Il y a aussi un accord de coopération en matière de volontariat international ainsi qu’un protocole financier pour la fourniture d’énergie et l’installation de 50.000 lampadaires solaires.
Emmanuel Macron, arrivé jeudi soir à Dakar, pour une visite officielle de trois jours au Sénégal, avait auparavant eu un entretien avec son homologue sénégalais au palais de la République, vendredi matin.
MM. Sall et Macron ont visité la Maison du TER, le Train express régional, une voie de chemin de fer électrique à écartement standard devant relier, dans un premier temps, Dakar à l’aéroport international Blaise-Diagne de Diass.
