Dans le cadre de son programme annuel, Go Media et le label Sabar en partenariat avec l’association humanitaire LPE (Lumière pour l’Enfance-Coumba Gawlo) organisent la première édition du festival destiné aux femmes intitulé « Chant des Linguère ». Prévu les 6,7, et 8 Mars 2018 à Dakar, le programme du festival, initié par l’artiste Coumba Gawlo, sera articulé autour de débats et forums, concert, pour sensibiliser sur les défis qui interpellent les femmes. La thématique coïncidant avec la journée internationale dédiée aux femmes, sera axée sur la défense des droits des femmes, l’autonomisation, l’entreprenariat et le leadership féminin, la promotion du dividende démographique au Sahel, la scolarisation des filles, les mariages précoces, l’espacement des naissances, la santé maternelle et infantile, la lutte contre les violences basées sur le genre.
