Le vœu du président américain sera exaucé dès cette année : ce sera le 11 novembre, jour férié commémorant les anciens combattants, a indiqué le Pentagone vendredi. Ce dernier avait été chargé par Donald Trump au début de l’année de réfléchir à l’organisation « d’un défilé comme la France ».
Selon la note du Pentagone, le défilé devrait se dérouler entre la Maison-Blanche et le Capitole – séparés en ligne droite de 1,8 kilomètre – et intégrer des représentants d’associations d’anciens combattants. Certains d’entre eux devraient prendre place aux côtés du président Donald Trump, sur une tribune officielle installée au Capitole.
