Le célèbre magazine américain Forbes a dévoilé mercredi son classement des 100 femmes les plus puissantes du monde du sport international. Figure en tête de liste, la Sénégalaise Fatma Samoura, première femme Secrétaire générale de la FIFA (Fédération internationale de football association).
Nommée en 2016, l’ex fonctionnaire du Système des Nations unies contrôle les opérations administrative et commerciale de la FIFA avec maestria.
En deuxième position, la burundaise Lydia Nsekera, première femme élue en 2013 au sein du Comité exécutif de la FIFA devenu depuis l’année dernière le Conseil de la FIFA. Depuis 2009, elle siège au sein du CIO (Comité internationale olympique).
Première femme élue au sein du Comité exécutif de l’UEFA, la Française Florence Hardouin complète le top 3.
On retrouve également dans ce classement a tenniswoman Caroline Wozniacki (8è) parmi les athlètes le mieux payés de la planète, Anglea Dong (4), directrice exécutive de Nike Chine ou encore Marina Granovskaia de Chelsea.
Des femmes de média figurent dans ce Top 100 à l’instar de la Chinoise XinYi Hua (21) et la Britannique Barbara Slater.
