Le festival AFRIKABOK 2018 aura lieu du 17 mars à Hamady Ounaré en premier et pour finir à St Louis, le 7 avril en clôture à l’Institut Français avec un concert exceptionnel de Lamine Cissokho, auteur-compositeur, chanteur et joueur de kora, venu spécialement de la Suède.
Le festival AFRIKABOK proposera également des films de sensibilisation sur les maladies cardio-vasculaires en partenariat avec le ministère de la santé, également sur le Droit à la Nationalité, la fin de l’apatride en coordination avec le Haut Commissariat des Nations Unies pour les réfugiés et pour terminer une valorisation du patrimoine du cinéma africain
Touchant un large public, les séances apporteront un divertissement inédit, attendu, trop rare pour ces populations qui luttent quotidiennement pour survivre face aux aléas climatiques et à l’isolement économique.
