Mamadou Oumar Bokoum, percepteur lui aussi a commencé ses déclarations par des mots de bienveillance. « Je voudrais tout d’abord remercier le tribunal, remercier vos assesseurs, le procureur de la République, les avocats et tous ceux qui ont participé à ce procès, de m’avoir écouté développer mes arguments. Je maintiens mes déclarations. Mes co-prévenus qui n’ont pas le même sort que moi, je leur souhaite bonne chance ».
En liberté provisoire, le procureur de la République a requis la relaxe pour lui et son collègue I. Touré.
