Le président de Rewmi peint un tableau sombre de l’état des libertés au Sénégal. “La démocratie sénégalaise est tellement délabrée que rien ne me surprend plus (du régime de Macky Sall)”, a déclaré Idrissa Seck qui, depuis Touba où il est en retraite pour dix jours, dénonçait ainsi la répression de la manifestation de l’Initiative pour des élections démocratiques (IED), hier, vendredi 9 mars.
Le président du Conseil départemental de Thiès estime qu’il y avait une bonne raison de manifester. Il dit : “Lorsque son (Macky Sall) ministre de l’Intérieur avoue en public qu’il est là pour manipuler le dispositif électoral en vue de sa réélection au premier tour de la présidentielle de 2019, cette déclaration doit pousser toute la population à se dresser contre une éventuelle forfaiture.”
Plus exactement, invité de l’émission Carte sur table de la 2sTv, Aly Ngouille Ndiaye a déclaré qu’il va œuvrer pour la réélection de Macky Sall au premier tour en 2019. Qu’il va aider les militants de son parti à s’inscrire sur les listes électorales et à aller voter pour son candidat le jour du scrutin.
Considérant que cette déclaration remet en cause la neutralité de son auteur, en tant qu’organisateur des élections, l’opposition a réclamé sa démission. C’est pour se faire entendre qu’elle organisé sa marche d’hier.
