Des personnes ont marché, dimanche, à travers les artères de la commune de Kafountine (Bignona, sud), pour dénoncer des “malversations financières” à la municipalité dirigé par Nfansou Victor Diatta, qui a annoncé une plainte contre les manifestants.
Portant des brassards rouges et scandant des slogans hostiles à l’édile de la commune de Kafountine, les marcheurs sont partis de la place publique au quai de pêche de cette station balnéaire. Ils sont ensuite allés remettre un mémorandum au sous-préfet de Diouloulou.
Les manifestants dénoncent le fait que le maire de la commune fait confectionner de “fausses quittances de recouvrement des taxes municipales” et procéder à “la récupération directe et illégale de la redevance du quai de pêche sans les reverser au Trésor public“.
“Toutes ces recettes qui proviennent de fausses quittances n’ont jamais fait l’objet d’une autorisation spéciale lors des différentes sessions de la municipalité. Les montants illégalement recouvrés depuis 2014, sont estimés à plus de 100 millions de francs CFA“, a accusé Ismaïla Dramé, conseiller municipal à Kafountine et porte-parole des manifestants.
