L’ambassadeur du Sénégal en Mauritanie, SEM Mamadou Tall, a annoncé, ce 4 avril 2018, que “les travaux du pont de Rosso vont démarrer,à coup sûr,courant 2018’’. L’annonce a été faite lors de la cérémonie organisée à l’occasion de la fête de l’indépendance de son pays. Monsieur Talla passé en revue les différents aspects de la coopération liant le Sénégal à la Mauritanie.

Sur ce domaine précis, M. Tall a soutenu que la construction du pont de Rosso aura “un impact certain sur la promotion des échanges économiques et commerciaux entre nos deux pays’’.
