Le ministre de la pêche et de l’économie maritime a demandé, hier, aux pêcheurs qui ne disposent pas de licences de s’abstenir de pêcher dans les eaux des pays voisins.
Venu s’enquérir de la situation du Marché central au poisson (MCP), le ministre de la Pêche et de l’Économie maritime s’est prononcé sur les accords de pêche qui lient le Sénégal et les autres pays de la sous-région, notamment la Mauritanie. Selon Omar Guèye, Dakar et Nouakchott travaillent à tout mettre en œuvre, d’ici la fin du mois courant. ‘’Des instructions nous ont été données pour que, d’ici le 31 mars, nous puissions avoir un nouveau protocole d’accord. Nous sommes en train d’y travailler et nous sommes prêts pour le réussir’’, a laissé entendre hier le ministre.
