Un duo de rêve pour l’électorat sensible et ceux qui prient pour la défaite de Macky Sall au soir du 24 février 2019. Et c’est là toute l’équation. Il existe un problème d’égo entre le fils de Wade et Idrissa Seck. Encore que pour les « Karimistes » et une bonne partie du Pds, il est hors de question de se ranger derrière qui que ce soit et surtout pas derrière le leader de Rewmi. Un côté jardin qui masque un côté cour. En vérité, le Président Sall garde encore des bastions solides de l’électorat. Presque toute la partie nord est dans ses poches, à l’exception de Podor où la lionne Aïssata Tall Sall lui donne encore des insomnies. Il a aussi l’avantage du pouvoir et un organisateur des élections qui a déjà tracé la voie de sa réélection, et aussi cette puissance coloniale qui lui a assuré un second mandat. De réels arguments qui ont leur pesant d’or sur la balance.
