Reçu hier au Palais présidentiel, Dethié Faye et compagnie, ont remis le rapport du processus électoral au chef de l’Etat ce suite à une audience qu’il les a accordée. Selon Déthié Faye, le président a salué le sacrifice consenti par les partis politiques et l’administration électorale et tous ceux qui interviennent dans ce sens. A cet effet, le chef de l’Etat a promis d’abriter dans le sens de l’intérêt du Sénégal, nous apprend Vox Populi.
Sur ce rapport, 3 points d’accords y figurent. Il s’agit du renversement des dysfonctionnements relevés à l’occasion de la refonte partielle dans le domaine de l’audit indépendant, la nécessité de procéder à un audit indépendant sur base de termes de référence validité d’accord de parties, la nécessité de rendre applicable les disposition de l’article L116 sur la nationalité plurielle et d’accroire le délai imparti au conseil constitutionnel de s’assurer de la nationalité exclusive du candidat.
Cinq autres point de désaccords sont dans ce rapport précité. Il s’agit de la proposition d’introduction du bulletin unique à la présidentielle de 2019, des modalités de rationalisation des candidatures, du nombre de mandats, de la nomination d’une autorité consensuelle pour organiser les élections et du scrutin aux locales.
