Le Poste frontalier des Douanes de Mpack (région de Ziguinchor) sur la frontière Bissau-guinéenne a saisi un total de 1087 billets noirs non encore lavés sous forme de coupures de billets de banque en francs CFA, en Euros et en Dollars.
La saisie a été effectuée sur un ressortissant Bissau-guinéen venant de Sao Domingos (Guinée-Bissau) et qui essayait de contourner le Poste frontalier de Mpack à bord de sa moto et suivant une piste empruntée par les fraudeurs. Ces billets, selon le prévenu interpellé et déféré au parquet, « étaient destinés à Ziguinchor pour être lavés au mercure et écoulés dans le marché ».
