Camara, aurait déjà fait valoir ses droits à une pension de retraite et serait un ami du Président du Haut Conseil des Collectivités territoriales (HCCT). Il a été nommé d’ailleurs Secrétaire général de cette institution dès qu’il a bouclé son travail de fouille à la Mairie de Dakar.
