Lors d’une table-ronde organisée récemment à Beyrouth, le Sénégal et le Liban ont souligné la nécessité d’accroître leurs coopérations sur tous les plans ou presque afin de tirer profit des opportunités dont regorge chacun des deux pays.
Le Mouvement des Entreprises et Représentations Économique Françaises ( MEREF) a organisé le 16 mars dernier à Beyrouth, une table-ronde destiné essentiellement à promouvoir les investissements libanais au Sénégal. Ce, conformément au thème choisi pour la circonstance : “Les opportunités du marché sénégalais à partir du Liban”.
Un choix qui est loin d‘être anodin. Tant le contexte y oblige. L’analyse macroéconomique du Sénégal révèle une économie qui connaît actuellement une transformation structurelle. Des secteurs vitaux comme l’agriculture, la pêche, l’industrie, l’artisanat, l’infrastructure, le tourisme, l’énergie et la santé subissent une modernisation sans précédent. Un processus mené dans le cadre du Plan Sénégal Émergent (PSE) du gouvernement, afin de favoriser une croissance économique à fort impact sur le développement humain et à accélérer la marche du Sénégal vers l’émergence, avec une collaboration public-privé.
