Serigne Mboup (à ne pas confondre avec le patron du CCBM, mais il s’agit plutôt de son jeune frère), le directeur de la société Bara Mboup electronics, a été victime d’escroquerie portant sur 13 795 727 F CFA. L’affaire sera jugée par le tribunal de grande instance de Dakar statuant en matière de flagrants délits. Le prévenu, un certain Ahmadou Bouya Diaw, a été conduit dans les locaux de la Sûreté urbaine de Dakar, le 27 février dernier, par le plaignant qui n’en peut plus de courir derrière son argent. Dans sa plainte, Serigne Mboup explique que courant 2017, le prévenu s’est présenté à lui comme le directeur de la société Diaw Global consulting (DGC).
A ce titre, le sieur Diaw a exprimé le besoin de nouer une convention portant sur la fourniture de matériels électroménagers constitués de réfrigérateurs, téléviseurs, congélateurs, climatiseurs et divers pour un montant de 13 795 727 F CFA. Le prévenu lui avait fait croire que les bénéficiaires étaient des employés de sa société et la dette serait soldée définitivement le 31 décembre 2017. Convaincu de la solvabilité du contractant, Serigne Mboup junior n’a pas craché sur l’affaire. Ainsi, pour les besoins de la convention, Diaw a constitué des dossiers de demandes de crédit avec cession sur salaire. De ce fait, le matériel était livré, selon les besoins exprimés par les supposés demandeurs.
