Les responsables de l’initiative pour des élections démocratiques (Ied) qui sont, au moment où ces lignes sont en train d’être couchées, à Pikine Dagoudane pour un grand rassemblement, ont annoncé le report de leur sit-in prévu demain vendredi, devant le ministère de l’Intérieur.
La raison ? Le Parti démocratique Sénégalais (Pds) et les autres membres de ladite plateforme décident d’attendre le vote de la loi sur le code électoral à l’Assemblée nationale.
Mais pour le parrainage, les poulains de l’ancien Président Abdoulaye Wade “invitent les militants et sympathisants, les démocrates, membres de la société civile à se tenir prêts à un rassemblement de masse devant l’Assemblée nationale pour défendre leurs droits et la souveraineté du peuple afin de manifester leur ferme opposition au viol de leur droit démocratique”
